Lentil Dip

All you need is a food processor and these healthy ingredients: 

  • 2 cups cooked lentils or 1 can of lentils

  • 1 cup nut butter (almond, walnut, sunflower). You can make this in your food processor or chop very finely.

  • 2 tbsp. flax oil or another healthy oil (avocado, olive, grapeseed)

  • 1 large garlic clove

  • ½ cup fresh basil or basil pesto

  • ⅓ cup lemon juice

  • 1 tsp. lemon zest (organic lemon is best)

  • 1 tsp. turmeric

  • ¼ tsp. sea salt

Process all ingredients in a food processor until very smooth.

 

It’s great for dipping vegetables, especially jicama!
