Quinoa Cereal With Apples
Ingredients:
- 1 cup quinoa

2 cup unsweetened rice, almond or coconut milk

1/2 – 3/4 cup diced apple or pear (I usually peel the fruit)

1 Tablespoon sunflower seeds

1 Tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes
-
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or more!)

a little raw honey or maple syrup to taste, if desired
Directions:
Rinse quinoa and add non-dairy milk.
Bring to a boil.
Add all other ingredients.
Return to a boil and then simmer on low until all liquid is absorbed (approx. 15 minutes).
